AUTONOMOUS MOBILE ROBOTS (AMR)
In AMRs, PAL greatly simplifies the sensor stack to save time and cost. PAL easily performs the sensing functions for Obstacle Detection Obstacle Avoidance (ODOA), visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (vSLAM), and can be used for situational awarenes such as obstacle recognition and people detection.
Ultra-Violet (UV) Disinfection is an effective way to make sure public places are free from germs. But it also introduces a unique need for PAL – to identify the presence of any person within a radius around the UV Disinfection machine. PAL, combined with Vision Intelligence Software provides a complete solution to this challenge.
